Authentically Restored Mid-Century Modern in Pasadena Up for Auction

By Claudine Zap

An impeccably restored Mid-Century Modern gem in Pasadena, CA, has landed on the market. The 1957 Thomson residence, which has been re-created to reflect the original design of the home, offers a glimpse back in time to the post-World War II era.

The owner of this retro masterpiece is none other than “Mad Men” executive producer Scott Hornbacher. (See if you can spot his Emmy and Golden Globe awards in the listing photos.)

The home was purchased five years ago for $1.47 million, according to property records. At that time, the gorgeous residence had already been completely restored by the previous owner, says listing agent Jimmy Wilson.
