The truck is owned by Eric Sheets. Purchased by his grandfather, Jesse, in 1975, it has been a family project ever since. After sitting in storage as a project for decades, Jesse gave the truck to Eric as a gift, with his promise that he would finish it one day. In 2017, the truck was beautifully restored by the Everett Bros in Fallbrook.
