I specialize in residential properties in La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, Altadena, Arcadia, Glendale and Pasadena. However, I have sold homes as far South as La Mirada and Long Beach, West as Playa Vista and Mar Vista, North as Canyon Country, and East as Claremont and am obviously willing to go any distance for a client. My strengths have been in helping my clients make their homes most presentable to the largest number of buyers, negotiating the best price to list it at, and in making my transactions proceed as smoothly as possible. I am honest, hard-working, and treat my clients so well that we become close friends for life. My clients have been amazed at my ability to present their homes in a “staged” appearance to make it more appealing to the buyers. Often, my Sellers wish that they did not have to sell their homes after I finished making their home so presentable and beautifully staged. I heavily market their homes with all forms of internet marketing, print advertising and vast personal contacts. For my clients that are Buyers, they are appreciative of the fact that I happily show them as many homes as needed until we find the right home for them. I don’t push them, but help point out the positives, and the negatives, of each home. I help them get the right financing and negotiate the best offer price to start with. I make shopping for a new home a positive and fun experience, and the escrow transaction as smooth as possible. The fact that most of my business is referral based is my greatest pride in real estate.
Since 2005, I have been a Member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Reators, Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors, and the Burbank Association of Realtors. I work for Podley Properties, the largest private independent brokerage in the San Gabriel Valley and foothill communities. We have offices in La Canada, Altadena, Pasadena, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Monrovia and Glendora. In addition to my license in Real Estate, I have a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
I was born in Los Angeles and have lived in Southern California all my life, except for two years in San Francisco. I grew up in the neighborhoods of Silver Lake and then Los Feliz untii I graduated from college. I worked at Bechtel Power Corporation for four years in their Purchasing and Quality Control Department and then was recruited to work as a computer time-share representative for Control Data Corporation. Having worked in sales for Control Data, helped lay the organizational foundation for managing my career in real estate sales. I also bought a house, tore it down, and rebuilt a brand new home in La Canada Flintridge where I raised my three kids. That experience taught me that I had a good sense in regards to looking at homes and seeing their potential to become beautiful dream homes. It was also the experience that made me choose to become a Realtor myself.
I have three successful and independent grown children who all graduated from the La Canada School District and then went on to graduate from UOP, UCSB, and UCSD, and then graduate schools becoming a Manager at New York Life, a Physical Therapist and a Physician Assistant. I’m very proud of them! My oldest son is also married and has two young sons, making me the happiest grandmother around!
I play tennis regularly, and have been organizing a Tuesday Night Tennis (TNT) coed group for over 30 years! We regularly have 16-20 players each Tuesday. If you are an avid tennis player, and would like to join our group, just let me know!
I also love traveling, skiing, cycling, dancing and EATING OUT! Call me any time you have a question about a restaurant!
Lastly, my love of animals is well known. I am a foster failure with dogs. I keep fostering, but then keeping all the dogs that I fostered. I had four dogs, but am now down to only three, after one recently died of old age.
