Mid-Century Modern by John L. Pugsley Lists for $3.3 million

A mid-century, modern home designed by noted architect John L. Pugsley in Pasadena’s historic Oak Knoll district is for sale at $3.323 million.

Beyond the soaring glass entryway under an arched roof, the circa 1963 residence on El Molino Avenue has 3,500 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Double-glass doors open to an entry gallery with a floating staircase leading to airy public spaces. The east landing is staged as an office, although there’s a proper office space with built-in cabinets and floating shelving on the ground floor.

Also upstairs, a fireplace divides the open-concept living and dining space.
